Did we win any road games this year against Big 12 teams in the top half? The only one I can think of is TCU.

UConn or Marquette game on now. Who do we need to win? What outcome possibly helps our seeding?

unfortunately, I think this game goes to show how mediocre we are...

Why? We split with ISU this year.

I agree, this makes no sense. We played Iowa state the toughest in the tournament lol

We're a 3. Period.

Brutal beat down there.

Doesn't make me feel any better bc I saw soft effort on our end last night. But at least Iowa St finally showed high upside.

I don't see UNC losing with Nc State having to play their 5th game in 5 days....but hey....March basketball

Hearing them talk about the number of injuries Houston has had they aren't the same team as a few weeks ago.
They were thin in the frontcourt before tonight, and losing J'Wan Roberts for the second half made them even more so.

If I was a Houston fan, that would worry me.

True. H-Town sports radio has been worried about the injuries and thin bench for a while now.

Didn't they lose a big time player earlier? Like before conference play got going?

I think so and one right before the end of the regular season.

Terrance Arcenraux was hurt early and out for season. Besides him and J'Wan Roberts, who was injured against Tech this week, not sure who the third injury was.

Yeah. Their talented freshman forward Tugler broke a bone in his foot.

NC State big man is a haul. He is the kind of guy you never want to defend, big, heavy, sweaty as all get out. There are not too many teams that have 2-3 players to throw at him. He can get your team in foul trouble in a hurry. Also way more agile than you would think.

And he's a really good passer. Every time UNC would try to double team him, he'd just pass it out to the perimeter to an open shooter who would knock down the 3. Burns is a good player. I remember being impressed by him in last year's tournament (they gave Creighton a much better game than we did).

His mass draws your eyeballs to him. And then you realize while watching him he's a really skilled player.

Super impressive win… no doubt. "Neutral court".... not so sure about that.

I have to agree with this. Iowa State has gone 14-3 in its last 17 games and avenged all three of those losses in the Big 12 tournament. You'd be hard-pressed to find a team playing better basketball than they just did in Kansas City.

Houston will win big. They are rolling right now. I'd advance them to the Final Four right now with the bracket sight unseen.

No, not at all, but you're infamous for showing up late in threads and calling out posts from earlier in the thread that ended up being wrong - as if you knew all along the post was going to be wrong. Just giving you a slight taste of your own medicine.

Ooh, ya got me!

I show up late in threads because I'm actually involved with the games and not on my phone. And I only ever call out people who constantly **** on our teams no matter what's going on.

Hilton South is not a neutral court. Anyone watching the game knows how loud the crowd was when ISU scored compared to when Houston did. It might as well have been in Ames, except the KC arena is probably larger.
