"Very good team" is an exaggeration. They've pretty much gotten blown out every time they've played a real opponent this season.

Congrats to them in dominating their league the past several years, and we need to show up ready to play, as is always the case in the tournament. But this would be by far the worst tournament loss of the Scott Drew era if they were to pull off the upset.

We'll have to play poorly not to win by double digits.

By mid major standards they're absolutely a very good team. And we have the tendency to screw around in the first round and let teams hang around

Why would/should a program that played the No. 1 schedule in the country judge an opponent by mid-major standards?

We've played a lot of very good teams this season. Colgate won't be one of them.

The Georgia State team we lost to, which had a first-round NBA draft pick and a good transfer point guard, was more talented than this Colgate team is.

That doesn't mean we can't be upset, but the outcome will be dictated by our play, not theirs.

What new assignment? Love has missed nine of the last 11 games, including both of our games at the conference tournament. Little will be playing the same role he did in all of those games.

Not to be flippant, but you see who those 17 were?

Colgate is 25-6 against non-tournament teams. They are 0-3 against tournament teams and lost by an average margin of 20 points in those games. Just saying.
