Are we taking on the Dallas cowboys persona? For the last 3 years the bears and boyz win 75% of regular season games only to fail miserably in the second round of playoffs,,,.. except bears did win a super bowl recently,,,

No that would be the Texas Longhorns. All the resources in the world and still come up short

LOL. This might be the worst take yet. Boys have won 1 playoff game in the last 3 years and a championship about 30 years ago. Baylor has won at least one NCAA game the last 5 times the tournament was held and a championship. They've basically done in the last 5 or 6 years what the Cowboys have done in 30.

And yes, it's apples to oranges in terms of NCAA and NFL postseason

The Cowboys are a joke of an organization. Their fans are entitled and hold onto championships won decades ago. The organization is the richest in the NFL, but money doesn't mean wins. And the GM is an idiot as a football GM (very profitable owner though that continues to make lots of money from the delusional fan base that still holds onto the "America's Team" era).

A better comparison would be the Cowboys and UT (football). Baylor does not have all the resources in the world, our fan base is not entitled, and we have recently won a basketball national championship. And we have a highly respected coach, which is the equivalent to a GM at the college sports level. I don't see any comparison other than we lost in a single elimination tournament, which happens to 67 of 68 teams every year in the NCAA tournament.

Just wait....JJ will finally kick the bucket and then the new owners will run back to back SB wins....

If you understand that to Jerry Jones, winning means dollars and cents and not scoring more points than your opponent on the field, the whole organization makes a lot more sense.

The "new" owners will be Jones' kids. If Charlotte has control, you might be right. If the boys have control, it will be more of the same.

The Dallas Cowboys is a business first & foremost. They are also the richest one in the NFL. In the business world, and apparently in Jones's eyes, that's a stellar success story.
