He didn't exactly look like an NBA player this year. I can't imagine anyone would spend a draft pick on him after the season he just had.cowboycwr said:
I thought he was going to the NBA to play with dad?
I always thought USC was an odd choice, other than the fact his dad is right there to keep coaching him, working out with him and attend games.

He actually does look quite a bit like an NBA player, which is the only reason he would be drafted. Two players for the price of one pick. *taps forehead*

Well he has also entered the draft.
I guess he wants to see what scouts think of him and if he has a chance to get drafted and then if not go back to a better school.
Would the lakers take him? Just to keep dad?
Not sure anyone thinks of USC as elite or cool when it comes to basketball. They average lower attendance than us.baylorrific said:
I understand the importance of the coach, but voluntarily transferring from one of the most elite and coolest universities in the US to ... Dusquesne, or however it is spelled. Good grief - what an adrenaline low to go from USC to a mid-major.
And I know that many professional athletes don't care about a college diploma, but there's not a lot I'd accept in trade to not have my college degree, and particularly one from an outstanding university such as Baylor. College athletes today seem to care zero about the academic reputation of the universities they are considering. For example, were I a college athlete at Stanford but could transfer to generic university X in order to play more, there's no way I'd do that.
