He averaged 13 and 8 in under 11 mins at a JUCO. He shot 42% from 3. Tore his ACL I believe a year ago or so. Complete wild card, but it's possible he's good and plays for us.

He averaged 13 points and 8 rebounds in less than 11 minutes a game! Who was playing the other 29 minutes?

Yanis' stats got screwed up by New Mexico Military Institute somehow. They do have him averaging 10.7 minutes per game, but if you look at the game logs, they have him playing one minute in 14 of his 24 games and averaging over 25 minutes in the other 10.

I would bet those averages actually came in 25-28 minutes because there's no way he averaged 50.5 points and 31.2 rebounds per 40 minutes.

So he's not Wilt Chamberlain...

Here's last season's highlights. Not much inside/drive game last year - but he was coming back from a knee injury the year prior. The lefty look is a plus - may buy him a few extra open shots/game.

He looks a little like a left-handed Royce O'Neale in the way he shoots and scores. Unfortunately, I don't think his overall skill set is quite what Royce's was. But he'll definitely help us.
