Even given KU's obvious bball history/tradition and the fact they're also at least presently competitive/respectable in football, there are far more attractive ACC options and more natural fits for the SEC to poach from the standpoint of the type things that normally drive these decisions to the point that it's hard for me to see this. Football and the ability to deliver significant numbers of new eyeballs still drives the bus.

If I was the SEC I would rather take UNC or Duke. But we will see how Kansas does with football in the coming years

THe idea is KU would come in with other ACC schools. I get the appeal of KU only in KU and Mizzou used to sell out arrowhead stadium for their border war rivalry game. Appealing games that get views is really the only piece of the pie left to mine. By that logic though I would think OSU might get some looks as well with Bedlam.
