He's a really good player. But I'd rather have Omier, too. I'd probably take Achor Achor over him as well.

I mean he's good. He's not however 2 million good. There's TONS of portal players much much better than him.
I guess my point would be is that some schools seem to just be throwing huge $$$ to players for the hell of it

Averaging 17 and 10 for a solid tournament team on almost 60 percent shooting is pretty damn good. That clears Johnathan Motley's junior year production, which is not easy to do.

But I agree that $2 million is a lot of money. I think that's a player trying to maximize his earnings and a team using NIL money to compensate for a lack of other draws.

Money is the only way a program like Washington gets that level of transfer.

So how will his teammates feel? Unless they're each getting at least mid- to high-six figures, the $$ difference is bound to impact on-the-court team unity.
