Just my opinion but the B12 was dumb to take them. That program is just straight ******ed when it comes to their perceived value and that goes all the way to the AD and University President. They never wanted to be in the B12 that's been obvious all along.
Let em leave and find out for themselves that they aren't worth squat in value

I'm with you. That program (and its fanbase) is a clown show. Let them go to the Frankensteined ACC or go suck hind tit in the Big Ten (not gonna happen). They don't want to be in the Big 12, and no Big 12 fan will miss them.

If this is accurate and they actually do go to the ACC and then it collapses, they could by left out. The Big 12 would be stupid to take them back after such a betrayal. It would be funny if they ended up crawling back to Oregon State & Washington State turning the Pac 2 into the Pac 3. Still not viable. Yes, I'm bring silly because that's not going to happen but they would deserve that fate more than OSU & WSU.

They aren't getting an invite to the B10 or SEC they just aren't. Their delusion has them believing that's possible. If they leave and the ACC crumbles (it will when FSU, Clemson leave) Utah will be left hanging out with the MW schools which is where they should be now. It was dumb to take them

Their addition was an absolute awful move by the supposed. Geniuses of the big 12. Pulling in them and Arizona state was a big big mistake that's going to harm our conference in the long run. Not that I am terribly optimistic on our conference anyway given the state of the sport.

Why would ACC take them? I guess it's on the way to SMU or Cali?

Not that my opinion counts but if the want to leave, each team should give them $50K to help them go.

If they have some success, I honestly think it is Colorado that is more likely to bolt. I'm still glad to have them both in the conference. Hopefully the current 16 stick together until college football changes completely (which is coming at some point).

Colorado is a curious choice they were the first of the four to come to the Big 12.

I know I am speaking to fans of a school on a website, but you all need to realize that fans of a school on website do not necessarily reflect at all the view points of the university they are fans of. So dont confuse internet chatter of Utah fans with the views of the actual University of Utah and I wouldnt trust the vast majority of this realignment chatter out there anyway.

Don't know that this is long term true. Really seems like we're moving towards a two conference pro (semi) environment. Wouldn't surprise me if ESPN is eventually wanting the large state schools for all states to be included into the 2 conference College Pro league.

My POV is that Colorado's biggest problem is they suck. That's why they were first to sign up this time. They knew they could be left out, so they moved fast.

In terms of market, ease of travel, and general reputation, Colorado should be even more attractive to the B1G than Nebraska, and (unlike Utah) the state has a very positive reputation (for the most part) with eastern progressives.

PLUS - they already left the Big XII once.
