That's par for course with a ton of B12 teams. That's why so many coaches from opposing conferences are calling out the B12 and rightfully so. Just wait until TCU, ISU etc announce their non cons

Its Sampson's MO. Smart though. Honestly if they played a KU or BU level OOC the team would probably get completely wiped out with injury. They already have 4+ guys hobbled every year bc of Sampson's system. This at least gives them a chance to survive a season. Really weak though.

I believe Iowa St's is also terrible. The metric gaming continues. The coaches outside the league aren't completely wrong.

Butler is often a good team. They certainly gave us a challenge when they were in Waco a few years ago.

I'm holding out hope that we're gonna play at least one interesting home game during non con...not holding my breath with all the NIL trends to neutral site stuff in Nov/Dec

No SOS help from BYU. Other than their holiday tournament in San Diego with NCSt/Purdue/Ole Miss, their only major conference opponent is Providence in the Big East challenge.

Another disappointing Big 12 non conference schedule. Maybe the league needs to impose some kind of rule like they did for football a few years ago: at least 25% of non conference games should be P5 (formerly P6) or mid major. Each team should have at least a few Quad 1 non conference games each season. We are the best conference in the nation by far. Every member should schedule accordingly. In the long run, it should make most teams better.
