Not only is the @SEC outrageously good this season, but the fact that there are no more @pac12 NCAA bids at the moment means that, at this point, 14 of 16 teams will be serious bid contenders. Highest @kenpomeroy ranking since ‘04 @theACC.

At this point, no one would be surprised if the SEC puts several more teams into the NCAA tournament than any other conference. If that's occurs, the Big 12 will need a strong showing in that tournament in order to prove itself.

15 of the SEC's 16 teams are currently ranked in the Top 75 of the NET.

That means that as of today, every single conference road game will be a Quad 1 opportunity except for when teams visit South Carolina, who is currently ranked 84th in the NET.

Michigan Tech (Division II ) beat Green Bay of the Horizon League 72-70. It was a road game, so they had a nice bus ride back home to Houghton, Michigan.

To be fair Gottlieb coaches Green Bay and he's like a part-time coach

It looks as if the ACC basketball teams are falling in line with their post season football results. The once premier conference in basketball has fallen into the 50-50 averages.
