Soooooo… we aren't very good ? I haven't watched any Men or Women's BB yet. You're not giving me much to tune in for.

Individually these guys are plenty talented to reach the Sweet 16. I should have prefaced I don't think this a title contender but this team has the talent for a 5 seed and losing to TCU is an NIT type thing.

VJ has flashed elite athleticism and potential. Omier is a double double machine that reached a final 4. Nunn has made some big plays for us. Josh O is starting to look like much more of a two way threat. Roach was 3rd team All-ACC last year for Duke.

Love CSD dude literally built BU and it culminated in a Natty.
But unless he looks in the mirror and changes how he constructs the roster Baylor is going to continue its downward trend. You simply cannot continue the 75% roster turnover. Just look at next season. Who's guaranteed back? Josh O, Celestine. That's literally it
There may not be a choice but to go back to a traditional method of roster building. You lose enough and the elite recruits choose to go elsewhere.

I liked the traditional method. Brought us the TJ Maston, Gillespie, Motley, types who we got to watch get better and better year to year.

I think I'd welcome that at this point.

Necessity is the mother of all innovation. And after banging our head against a wall the last three years, we could use damn innovation.

We got the answer. Lost to a really weak Tcu team at home. Seems the staff has lost any touch they once had. Hope I can point to how wrong this is end of season but that was pathetic.

We're not good and the coach is the primary problem.

This is so frustrating drew wants to go out this way

They lost their energy after 2022, pretty obvious now.

Yes… But if NIL kills school spirit, then why is the brand new transfer the only one participating in the traditions of the school?

This is one of several reasons why I will never be giving a dime to NIL; if my lack of giving means that we are doomed to mediocrity, so be it. Frankly, coaches and athletic directors need to be held accountable as they are also making seven figures, but they are often considered untouchable

Maybe Macio's mom can talk to the team

Platt has a point but Omier was the only player to stay on the court and he's a one year transfer. Many players will have multiple allegiances but some will respect each stop or fit better at one.

They need to go back to one transfer. More than one you sit out a year and lose a year of eligibility.

I agree 100 percent. But we're more likely trending toward unlimited transfers with perpetual eligibility.

There is no leadership in these sports and the courts will strike down any attempt at rules enforcement.

I'm convinced the chaos we've seen the last couple of years will just reign until these sports collapse under their own weight here in a decade or two.

They should've snuck an Executive Order in front of Trump to sign yesterday doing away with NIL, the portal and the NCAA. Oh wait, never mind, he actually reads what he's signing.

I have hope they won't, but I'm an optimist. At worst they collapse and start where they began.

If the NCAA was a functioning organization they would've found a way but it's a tornado of failure that can't do anything besides lengthy investigations into some rando school but not another that did the same thing. Why did the Iowa schools get busted for sports gambling? Because sadly they're easier to investigate and punishing them doesn't hurt the blue bloods who control the show. Winning enough schools to make a point, like SMU, but not Alabama
