Can't see it. No family connection, always playing second fiddle to Duke and UNC, money wouldn't be much better. Just not sure why he would go there.

Kentucky and Louisville both thought they were automatics.

The only spot that should worry Baylor fans who want Drew to stay until retirement is the Indiana job.

Technically they didn't play second fiddle to anyone a few years ago.

I think he meant from a fan support perspective.

Yep, that's exactly what I meant. Not that it is different in the big 12. Kansas, Iowa State both have much stronger fans bases, win or lose. We just don't have that level support. I thought winning the NC would change that, but I still see empties at Foster.

We have season ticket holders who live in DFW, Austin, and Houston. Little hard for them to get to Foster for a Tuesday night game. Duke is in the much more populated research triangle. Lawrence is a 30-40 minute drive from the wealthy KC suburbs that probably house a decent number of season ticket holders. In coach speak, it is what it is. Winning might help locals be more likely to buy a ticket or season ticket holders who can't make a game donate them to a Baylor fan or future fan in need

Virginia draws very well. 13,000-14,000+ for every conference home game to watch that garbage team.

Why, the answer isn't family he doesn't have family in Indiana. The one job that could realistically pull him away was Kentucky, he's not going anywhere and it's hilarious people think he might at this point.

Why? It's the only job he's ever mentioned in an interview about dream jobs.

Any more questions?

For the those who are not trying to be a smart ass, the context was in an interview years ago about what he would consider dream jobs when he was a young assistant coach. IU was the only one specifically mentioned.

I hope he stays. He has worked miracles at BU. If he does leave I dont think money will have been that big of a factor.
I have found theres only two ways to go:
Living fast or dying slow.
I dont want to live forever.
But I will live while I'm here.
