Nunn is just such a poor finisher. Uncanny ability to miss uncontested layups. He was okay last year so not sure what the heck happened

I've got to say…this has been a scrappy effort so far. A couple times I thought tech was about to go run away and hide… and Baylor has done a good job of staying connected.

Roach is making a million plus I believe. Not exactly a good return on investment

We're hanging tough. I can't complain too much.

Our M.A.S.H. unit squad is right in the game at the 11-minute mark on the road against the Big 12's hottest team. I'll take it.

Basketball is a simple game. The ball needs to be in a creator's hand every possession. With Edgcombe out we have one, Wright. Every possession we don't score and he doesn't touch the ball (when in) is a failed possession.

Vj is our only consistently good defender and is a really good rebounder. Would have helped guard the perimeter and limit second chance points. Missing a top 10 conference guy hurts bad. Our best overall player with Omier limited

We miss VJ from 3 and we are missing VJ on D and on the boards and initiating offense. He helped us in so many ways that didn't always show up on the boxscore before he found his stroke.

There's a simple explanation for it. Josh O is always one ball screen away from defending a guard on the perimeter. Our scheme takes him out of rebounding position almost every possession.

Yep making McMillan look like Curry now. Vj could lock him as he isn't that big or wide. Only guys Vj has struggled with were really big guard/wings.

VJ is the League's best player. Wright is our second best player.

What's sad is that we're two-thirds through the season and I feel twice as comfortable with the ball in the hands of a freshman than I do a 5th year senior that we paid well into the 7 figures to get.

Yeah, I don't understand all the negativity.

Tech is really freaking good, and we've competed pretty well tonight. We haven't played all that well, but that's to be expected when you're without your most talented player and playing a bunch of guys with nagging injuries.

VJ is the League's best player. Wright is our second best player.


Im being conservative. He's the most talented player in the league by far. I don't think he's the best though, I do believe he's top 5. Wish this team just once could get all their guys and have Omier relatively healthy. Wright and Vj are special.
