No. 13 Texas Tech (18-4; 9-2) defeats Baylor (14-8; 6-5) in Lubbock 73-59. The Bears hope to have VJ Edgecombe and Langston Love back for UCF Saturday in Waco.
The Bears started both halves well but could not finish. Norchad Omier led the Bears with 16 points and 12 rebounds while Robert Wright chipped in 15 points.
“They're a couple of seconds away from being undefeated in first place in the league,” noted Coach Drew, “So Grant's done an amazing job. He really has them playing at a high level."
