We don't have enough size. The gameplan THIS YEAR has not been a good one. I have full faith in scott but those 2 things are the issue this year. And injures I'll add that.

I'm personally tired of the injury excuse. Every team has them. The injuries are magnified because the roster was POORLY constructed. Just malpractice from a construction stand point. I personally hope Drew gets back to building teams through continuity.

Think better to refrain from looking ahead to next year. Don't care about one and done's or who we'll buy through the portal. Pre season hype, no thanks. Just tune in for the opener against some in state lower level opponent and make my assessment. Go baseball, get us to football season again.

You can hear from me now. Tough loss. Edgcombe was off. Colorado made plays they haven't made all season. Our backs are against the wall and our margin of error is minimal. But this team has shown enough flashes to click at the right time. Well, that time is now!

The way everything else has gone this season, I just assume it's a foregone conclusion we'll have 3 or 4 guys out for Cincinnati.

Yet another guy shooting only 30% from 3 all year long, and he goes 5 of 9 or 55.5% on us when left wide open. As a team CU was shooting only 32% from 3 on the year and became yet another in a long line of teams shooting 40% or better against us from 3 this year.

They're very likely losing at least 1 of at Cincy and at Tcu. Hou at home will probably be for the tourney. Every great coach has won a series of improbable games and made at least 1 pretty improbable run. Drew's turn now.

Basketball has evolved toward maximum efficiency. Particularly toward perimeter play. With Omir we were sort of built contrarian to modern basketball roster building consensus. Add in poor shooting, and we just are not efficient.

For what it's worth, when I was at Foster last week I noticed the women's national championship banners -- as my budget seats were about eye level with them. Hmmm ... 2005, 2012, 2019. So, should I extrapolate the men don't owe us one until 2028?
Probably stupid to ponder. On the one hand, the men have looked extremely pedestrian since 21, while the gals pretty much ran the conference for most of 15 years and typically made it 2-3 rounds in the ncaa tournament. On the other hand Big12 women's basketball was meh ... as were most conferences, save for maybe the SEC. The B12 men schedule has been a bloodbath over the past decade (although I think we are as guilty of gaslighting this year as the SEC typically is with football). So do we deserve a break? Even so, I'm afraid though the modern day variables of NIL and transfer portal will make the men's climb back to relevance much harder. Even by 2028. Thanks for reading if you're still here :-)

That's a hard NO. Short of three NCAA Women's coaches presently, we are in the boat with all other schools. Like a box of chocolates, you never know whut you're gonna git. 2024-2025 Athletic year for BU has been a real downer. Hopefully Drew can turn things around next year. Football… well, kinda like the chocolate box again. Don't expect much and be surprised if they show some life.

I've watched and been to many Baylor Scott Drew coached Baylor games. This team is talented but doesn't know how to win yet.

If Arkansas is one of the last 4 in with that record..and we beat them..it's not that dire..we were 97% before the last 2 losses..

That bottom of bubble would have to really get hot to displace us .

Texas suffered a crushing loss to winless South Carolina.

SMU with 20 wins has a crucial home loss vs Clemson.

That being said Cincinnati and Ok State would be ones we need to get.
