I know this is a crazy thought and unimaginable 2-4 years ago, but do you really want Peat to go along with the other 5 star freshman? Both likely one and done guys. Just not the formula in today's game.

I am not sure any Power Forwards are NBA ready at 19, but Koa Peat looks to be a very interesting prospect that appears to show development beyond his years. He will play as a Freshman, wherever he ends up. Would love to have him here.

I remember something from Drew's early years here: He was recruiting the number one player in the country--John Wall. I think this was at a time we were still on probation when they banned us from playing nonconference games. Scott has always aimed to find the very best that fit the program. Bring in the best, be it Freshman or portal transfers, and find a way to make it work.

Arizona is considered the favorite with Arizona St the backup plan, although he has taken his time and would not commit anywhere because he says he wants to see what the rosters look like in April. One of his older brothers is an offensive lineman at Arizona St and his sister plays some sport (can't remember which) there too. He has two other older brothers who played football at Stanford and Nebraska and his dad played offensive line in the NFL.

I would assume he's also waiting to see if Hurley is let go in Tempe or not.

I'm sure that is also playing a role in it and, you never know, he could be waiting to see if anything happens at Texas or see where our roster ultimately falls. Earlier he was thought to be part of the package deal of highly rated recruits going to UH, but he apparently didn't want to commit or sign then.

Houston has a PF commitment, a higher rated one.
