I admit there is a great deal about the NBA I don't get. I remember watching Durant in the McDonalds Allstar game coming out of High School (Tweety Carter was in that game, briefly). Durant looked like a 19-year-old playing against 15-year-olds, he was way better than anyone else. Still one of the great offensive players ever. Kevin never really focused on defense, and that hasn't changed. Houston is getting a 37-year-old offensive star who's scoring has been on a slow decline. He only played 62 games this past year, 26ppg, Houston is giving up more offense than they are getting. Durant is also a free agent at the end of the year. If there is a rational explanation for this trade, would love to hear it.

not a fan of this trade for the rockets

i have never been a fan of trading multiple picks for a player, let alone a very old player

the rockets gave up jalen green ,dillon brooks, the #10 pick in this draft and five second round picks

green was the #2 pick in the 2021 draft, is 23 years old and a future all star

a straight swap of green for durant would have been hard to take but more palatable

throwing in the #10 pick for the upcoming draft and all of those other picks makes me question the sanity of the

decision makers

I am SO glad the Spurs did not make this move. He is historically great but his best years are behind him.

How different might recent NBA history have gone if Durant had stayed at Golden State?

Possibly 5 total championships putting him in the conversations as best of this generation

Wow. This is almost as bad a trade as the Mavericks giving up on Luka

Not making an argument but funny how we say "he is in decline when he played 62 games and averaged 26 points." How many teams wouldn't want that...

Perplexing move giving up all the draft picks but it is what it is.....hope it works out for the Rockets...
