This is the kind of game Agbim can't be silent in. BYU is awful on D. He should be getting and taking open shots. He was making progress over the past few games and now he's gone back into his passive form again.

EDITED TO ADD: After the game, Drew explained that Agbim wasn't close to 100%. Apparently injured himself at some point, which maybe explains why he went into the passive shell. Since we have no depth, there was essentially no one who could replace him. So at least that helps explain some of the regression.

We don't have defense. That's why we lose games. Yes, there are plenty of other issues too but a consistently good defense would overcome much of that.

Seasons over. There was virtually no shot at the ncaaas anyways. But BYU sealed that fate. Way way too many portal misses to field a respectable team. I'll reiterate that whoever thought it was a good idea to give Rataj a million needs fired yesterday

Were just short at every position.. everyone has a matchup advantage against us... And where we have height.. they're terribly unathletic..

My sentiments exactly. I wouldn't have gone all Isaiah Thomas on him, but I would have definitely sent him a couple healthy blocks early on to let him know that coming inside is not a great idea. These players seem to lack pride on the defensive side. Maybe it comes down to simple effort.,

None of the players on this team are motivated to go Bill Laimbeer on Wright. He didn't walk out on them. They weren't even here.

This can't happen again next year. We have 5 years of solid data showing we are an injury prone program, for whatever reason(s). I understand and support why we redshirted two guys this year, but we've gotta get to a point that we have guys at the deep end of the bench who can actually play if called upon.

Checked in and of course they look terrible now. Letting a 6' ft guard play you for a fool. Man this program is soft.

But this is good for Drew. Hopefully he finally gets tired of being punked. For whatever reason, Bu always needs to be hammered over the head to make real changes. Time to completely reset.

Doesn't help that you have the worst of all worlds, Tounde and Carr still showing up which will keep them in the 1st round is basically the worst case scenario playing out.. comical.

I really wonder what CSD has been doing or not doing to field a team as low caliber as this. We have very little speed on defense with no muscle inside at all.

There's really nothing to suggest this isn't going to happen again next year. Drew's been marching towards to cellar for awhile now. His magic is gone. Any respectable team is beating Baylor. He's been fully lapped by 50% of this conference

Biggest issue with this entire season. Would be partially worth it if 1 or both returned.. look at the turnover that all the leading teams will finally have next year. With them back and real portal evals.. would look like the old big 12 with KU and BU both as contenders.

Now another near restart while the teams that benefited for 3 yrs with great continuity are basically still even with us next year. Just can't happen.
