It would be Titanic blow to ISU if they lost both their football and basketball coach in a span of 90 days .

It's not always 100% about the money. Either may have always dreamed of being the head coach of an actual bluebood program that has a chance to win the Natty every year. They may be in love with college basketball history and aura. Iowa St and Tech are nice programs. They are not now, nor will they ever be a blueblood or even the #1 sport at their respective schools. And, then again, they may both feel like Drew and be at their dream school now and have no ambition to ever coach anywhere else. You never know.

Refs must've thought that game was at the Phog. Would've been interesting to see how the officials would've handled Duke vs KU had the Jayhawks won (I suppose not call any fouls at all?).

Glad I had Fl losing early this year. Iowa stomping a mud hole in them. If Fl is gonna come back it's gonna have to happen quick. Iowa drains clock with the best of them

The sea has parted for Houston. I had FL losing in S16. M… to Vsndy so that top half is beefed. But it makes for a much much easier E8 game for Houston. If they get by the Illini they'll run through Nebby or Iowa

It wasn't even simulated pressure. It was a true press. They had a man on the inbounder and everything.

Just completely idiotic in that situation.

All you had to do was send four guys back and pick the point guard up in the backcourt to force a few seconds off the clock. Going the route they did against a team as well coached as Iowa was just crazy. They could break that press in their sleep, and once they did they had a virtual fast break.

Utah St is playing scrappy.

Az is my champ...please don't let them bow out this early.

Maybe you're right but I really can't believe it was called like that. I just can't.

I have to think their guards draped on them was execution error. Both of them were caught trailing the play immediately trying to stay glued on their guy off the screen. I just don't understand.

I understand wanting to slow momentum but that was crazy.

Either way nobody should have been there. Meet them at half court with one guy and run everyone off the line. Literally did the only thing you can't do.
