wouldn't we be in line or an NIT invite, or maybe even a College Basketball Crown invite given Baylor's top 45 NET rankings + historical success.

I like Isaac Williams a lot. This has been a horrible game for him.

The fact that we're still chucking up 3s like this is a pickup game tells me all I need to know.

It's likely not his fault. We've played good defense in like four of Scott Drew's 20-plus years in Waco, and it's only happened when we've had elite individual defenders who brought their own defensive standard.

You have to commit be being good on that end of the floor and hold players accountable to a certain standard of effort and intensity. Drew has basically never done that. And no assistant is going to fix it.

Even open 3s are forces for Yessoufou. He's literally a 30 percent 3-point shooter. That's the shot the defense wants.

Every 3 he took today was a bad shot situationally, and several kickstarted runs for Arizona State.

Dude scores at will on the block and he insists on chucking 3s. And Drew just cheers that **** on.

Please, Scott. Turn down any post-season tournaments like the NIT or Crown and spend that time working to identify actual talent in the portal who can compete for the upper half of the Big 12 next year.

I don't like the entitlement of turning down postseason opportunities. But I also don't want to watch this team anymore. It's a real dilemma.

Neither do I. But I don't think teams should turn down postseason invites -- so long as they're earned.

I didn't think our football team should have accepted a bowl invite with a 5-7 record, but if we're selected to play in the NIT, we should go and play. Entitlement culture isn't one I want seeping into our program. We have enough other issues without that.
