Yep, my gut is Tounde is out too. Maybe pulling out after going through the draft process and then taking high bid in the portal. Probably has a good year and goes first round in a weaker draft next year. Also probably too much $. Hope to be wrong.

I believe we gave Isaac a two year deal. Not sure how enforceable that is. I wonder if multi year deals will become more common?

I guess there is some risk in that also if you end up getting married to a Rataj type bust.

I think I heard that his was the first multi year deal in college hoops. If true, how much of that is due to our new AD

A couple other whispers I've heard (take with grain of salt):
- KJ Lewis (Georgetown Guard)
- David Punch (TCU Forward)
- Matt Able (NC State Wing)
Not confident in any of these names but they are ones to monitor. Keep an eye out for Sebastian Williams-Adams (Auburn Forward) and Taison Chatman (Ohio State Guard) if they enter the portal as well

We've also reportedly had contact with Terrence Hill Jr. (VCU Guard), Kahmare Holmes (Wofford Guard), Bryce Lindsay (Villanova Guard), and Isaac Celiscar (Yale Wing). I'm sure all 4 of these guys have already been mentioned in this thread, just repeating lol

Outside of those names, I'd like to see CSD look at guys like Keanu Dawes (Utah Big) and Isiah Harwell (Houston Wing, although Zaga seems confident they'll get him)

I don't think his tweet is entirely correct. There are exceptions as part of that recommendation, including religious missions. So, the NCAA protects BYU once again so they can continue to have 25+ year olds play.

I was in these message boards last year with some good calls too lol
Called Rataj, Agbim, White, JBB early, and said to keep an eye on Skillings and Powell when they entered
That being said, I was also confident we were going to get Tarris Reed and obviously that didn't happen (although it was dangerously close)

Hopefully this year the guys I'm right about are actually good players. IDK if I can't stand another offseason portal class with zero meaningful returns

Drew will have at least 2 DPOY guys assuming Bodo comes back healthy.

If they can develop Byrds offensive game, he could finally realize the hype of the last few years. Could be a pro role player with significant offensive improvement.

What's the situation on Tounde and Perez?

That would be disappointing. Great defensive player and would have a good opportunity to improve enough on offense to get drafted.

Bu seems like a good choice so if true I'm assuming friars seriously upped the $$ bid.

Never seen him play, but with his dad being who he is I am sure he plays very cerebral. I don't think we will get as many forced shots as we have seen from Tounde this year.

I don't think it is a matter of getting outbid, apparently Providence is only offering a little over 2mil, but that's just what I've seen and clearly I could be wrong lol
