His range feels pretty set from 15-21. The are some outlier projections higher and lower than that but this feels like the range he will go in. I am honestly pretty happy with that group as there are awesome landing spots with ascending teams or landing spots with bad teams where he can play a ton. Regardless his impressive NBA Combine performance was massive to cementing his mid-1st projection. I would be happy for, one reason or another, with any of the landing spots in this range from Chicago at 15 to Detroit at 21.

The earliest projections are the Bucks at 10 which I can’t imagine happens. That feels way too early but they do need wing help and not many strongs ones availiable there.

The other early one we have seen some in this process is the Miami Heat. We will see what happens with Giannis but the Bucks could have this pick as well. If the Heat keep it then I like the fit as he would fit in well with the scoring guys they have by giving them more athelticism on the wing.

Chicago and Memphis at picks 15 and 16 would not be the most fun and the organizations scare me right now. But he would get a chance to play a ton early on which is a positive.

I am keeping an eye on pick 17 which is currently owned by the Thunder. If that pick gets traded then a new team could slot in for selecting Carr. He could fit with the Thunder as well if they keep the pick as they need some more wing additions with athleticism.

The Raptors fit at 19 feels clunky to me as they have so many wings and big guards.

The Spurs would be fun for me as a fan but they need front court help more than a wing. His three-point shooting and impact off the bench would be helpful plus make some sense.

The Pistons at 21 is certainly enticing even though it would be the lowest pick of this range. That team is poised to be good for a while and he could be the future at wing for them. This would be a good combo of playing early and being a potential big part of the future next to Cade Cunningham.

My prediction is Charlotte at pick No. 18 and I think that would be a tremendous fit for him. He would get to play alongside a really talented group of wings/guards and likely be a lead guy off the bench along with midseason acquisition Coby White. He would be the direct sub for Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller. I think the pace they play with and the priority of the three-point shot would make things really fun for Carr. The Hornets will likely get a big at No. 14 allowing them to focus on taking the best availiable at No. 18. Carr fits that very well there.

Going to the Lakers via trade from NY at pick # 24. Should be a good fit next to Luka.

I'm really surprised he fell as far as he did. Especially him slipping past the Sixers at 22; he would've been an awesome fit next to VJ and Maxey! You could really tell he was upset he didn't get drafted earlier; his face on the broadcast said it all. Wishing the best for him and I'm happy he'll get to ball out in a big market like LA.

Seems like with a player that good we should've won a few more games.

Unfortunately, we were unable to put a decent supporting cast around him. Same with VJ the year before.

It also seemed like with both players it took way longer into the season for us to figure out how best to use them.

Most of the Big 12 had a player like this. The conference had 9 picks in the first round.

Cameron needs to play next year. He has a better shot at playing time where he is.
