If Maston doesn't get injured I can't say we win, but it's a different game.

I've dislocated a finger twice before and it typically took me 5-6 weeks to get back to 80% of my normal range of motion. I'm still not at 100% 15 years later.

I hope it's not his shooting hand.

Gotta figure out a way to get the ball inside and not running our offense from 25 feet out
That offense woke up McClure last game, but we have to drive or pass it inside to be more aggressive.

Dang this board is a gotdang echo chamber. Yall check yer vajayjays. Are they sandy? Jake aint shown anything that looks like he's a better player than he was last year. We aint even deep enough to have a glue guy at the guard spot.

Playing 5 on 4 too cuz ol jake is a nonfactor

4 out of 5 of our players on offense were a nonfactor. So it was more like 5 on 1.
When ya pass 20 times up top before running a one on one offense that makes sense.

Drew: Maston with possible broken hand. Not sure yet though ...

Yep. Jake has a skill set, but it's not what we really need right now. Many weren't high on Chuck or Al but we certainly could use a more polished scorer right now. Hopefully Jolly can help fill that void
don't hold your breath on that. Omot and McClure have to score for us along with Maston and Lecomte.

We need to send Maston to the same doctor in Oklahoma that used to treat Blake Griffin when he was at OU. I think the doc did his residency at Hogwarts.

It is nice to be on a 365 freeboard after a loss that contains almost all adults.

If we lose Maston for any extended length of time (esp. during conference play), our entire level of postseason tournament play might just drop down a notch (I.e. from NCAAs to,NIT).

Depends how hurt he is ... for how long ... and whether 1-2 guys will step up to fill the void. May even affect our basic offensive philosophy. After Manu, Maston is basically our second best scoring threat on a team that's low on scoring options.

Gotta hope for the best here and that TJ misses minimal games with his injury, whatever it turns out to be.

I was just coming on here to say I found the part where it looked like he injured himself and it seemed to be a jammed or dislocated finger. Broken hand, shooting hand no less, and he's probably done. Wow.

He was grabbing at his right middle or ring finger it seemed to me.

I could see how someone who doesn't know basketball would think that.
Yeah ok. Lemme just pull up some stats. 0-4 shooting, 1-2 from foul line, 13 assists, 2 turnovers and 8 fouls against the only real competition so far. Take off the green and gold glasses brotha. He's not even gettin to the line.

The sky is not falling. yes it's his shooting hand..they showed his 2 fingers taped so if there saying hand it's prob base of those fingers. No way that's a season ender.i predict he ready before conference.

If Drew is saying "hand" to be vague and he "just" has a broken finger. He might very well play Saturday. Wait and see.

We just got beat by a better team at their place tonight. Happens to everyone. My bigger concern has come true though. Clark has essentially disappeared as the competition stepped up and really got abused while he was in there tonight. That's not too surprising since he's just a true freshman but hopefully he continues to gain experience and get a lot better as the season goes on, particularly if we're losing Maston for a long period.

No doubt. I think asking Omot to take defenders off the dribble is asking him to do too much. I would like to see him catch in the high post where he can utilize his height and passing ability to look over the D and swing the ball.
