We have ZERO clutch outside shooters.

**** Kansas and those ****ing ass refs. They screw everyone.

Home job is so bad at this place - all the other BIg12 schools need to thump Kansas in all other sports so these *****s don't make the next conference alignment.

Yup. Little bitter tonight. Need to stop drinking.

Could easily be a foul called on KU but they'll just get the ball back instead.

Makes me want to play them again in football.

Clark freaks out and misses a pass that Maston could've handled in his sleep. Would LOVE to know what's going on with 31.

And on top of that, just about every time Vital goes to the line it's as good as a turnover.

Yep. Gotta know what's going on there.

Manu could have saved us so I hate to complain ...,

But the refs were not going to let us win that game. What a friggin hose job.

It's got to be the hand

you can see it when he shoots... he had the best touch on the team and now he shoots like I do...

It's got to be his hand

If that's the case Maston with a broke a** hand is still light years better than Clark.

Especially when that last play calls for a catch and pass to the corner. Clark hasn't done that all year.

I just don't get it. I thought McClure and Lecomte would be a strength of the team this year. So disappointing... Tonight, they were a combined 6 for 22. Yikes...

On a side note, we play better with our three guard line-up.

Getting that 2-8 feeling we had in 2013/14 again. Maybe we turn this season around as well but 2013/14 team had much more developed talent.

We are now officially the cellar dwellers, tied with TCU and Iowa St but both beat us.

Love the optimism but conference doesn't have 4 weak teams to feast on like it did then.

KU player drives at Jo, who's backing up and straight up, WHISTLE! And one.

McClure drives and gets bumped while in midair... PLAY ON.

Game was over at that point, Lecomte's chucks aside. Problem is Tech was still able to overcome 5-8 down the stretch there and we're nowhere near as good as they are.

Lecomte only has to hit 1 of the 4 chucks and the refs calls are irrelevant. We can blame the refs all day long ( and be correct), but you gotta have a leader who comes thru in the clutch. We don't.

I've never seen a conference like this ever. The difference between the highest and lowest ranked teams are razor thin. The "worst" team on a given week can play with anyone.

When we went up 67-61, I said "we will not score again". Not kidding. Good effort, but we have to do a better job of closing out games.

Which is the reason we are in deep do do now. It is highly unlikely anyone (well, maybe 1) is gonna go on an 8 game run this year with that kind of depth.

This is correct but even if Manu makes that layup with 4 seconds left, we probably get called for a bench tech for celebrating too hard.

Manu could learn from Medford as to how to hit a big shot on the road. That airball three was awful but we have no one else willing to take a big shot, so it's not all on him. Well, some might take it but ain't no one making it.

This year, most likely, ends the NCAA run but it could be a good reset since we've underachieved/met expectations the last three March's. This team is due for another long run but our current personnel isn't the makeup we need to survive in this iteration of the B12.

Worst part about this outcome is that we'll start to believe that we'll at least beat them at home and then lose by 10.

naw screw that thought process. Our fans need to get to that game early and give our guys an emotional lift all game long. And help the refs see things the right way.

I'll say this about our guys... talent wise they shouldn't have been on the court with KU... but these kids work and grind and make it ugly.... they compete

We could really use a Brady Heslip

Nice fight in the 2nd half - team has played hard all year. This is a good team overall actually, just not good enough to have .500+ record in this insane Big 12. Drew just hasn't collected enough offense to finish games this year - the only game we have closed out is Creighton. Otherwise we fold like a cheap table. Hope they can at least make the NIT

I'm not going to stop watching but I think we are what the record says we are. I'm already looking forward to next year just because I can see that we're not likely to be going far this year and I have 2 quick hit thoughts: 1) I'm going to miss Big Jo. Last year to this year he's a completely different player, much more assertive. 2) We need a top flight PG in a bad way.
