The two different camps in terms of Rhule believers/non believers have been set for some time. I would guess, though I'm just speculating, that his NFL interviews didn't change the numbers on those two sides in any significant way.

UCLA doesn't like to pay a lot so they won't do that buyout

The more I read how the UCLA program is run the more I'm.schocked.

Forget the Hollywood alumni with deep pockets..that list is outstanding..

Just their basketball alumni list would stun a mastadon... somebody cares enough to pay that $8 million..or do they think they can do better.

Nothing says "can't wait to get out of Texas" like withdrawing your name from the New York Jets job because they won't let you handpick your coaching staff. Yep. DYING to leave, clearly.

My point here is that he can spin it to being he turned them down and picked TCU over UCLA and have the TCU people continue to love him. Based on my experience with my alma mater, that tactic works.
