not sure how we gave up 40 to that team. And letting them out rebound us...

Hope Drew can make some halftime adjustments better than the last two years.
I do too. Our offensive flow is there. It's much more likely we can keep this up than NMSU. But who knows.Media Bear said:
I actually feel good about the second half coming up. If we got Freeman and Maston going early, we still got Manu and Motley due to. Meanwhile, NM is probably just played their best half of the entire season.
The zone is great for keeping games close, both ways.baylor1984 said:
Drew needs to go man and pressure full court. This NM will turn it over and over if we do. The zone D isn't working. Thank God Freeman and Matson stepped up or we would be in a heap of trouble.
Usually the case but something feels different about this game. Both teams are playing very well and I imagine this game ends very close. I'm expecting a back-and-forth offensive show in the 2H.riflebear said:
Gotta love Baylor shooting 55% but can't remember the last time a team hit 6 - 3's on us in a half. We also did a good job taking care of the ball late in the half sticking on 7 TOs. Can't allow them to stay in it w/ less than 5 min left or things will get very tight again for everyone.
The good thing is usually the better teams extend leads after halftime. Villanova & Gonzaga were both in tight games at half then blew it open, lets hope we do the same.
It's called worshiping at the altar.Media Bear said:
CBS/TBS/whoever shows all Michigan highlights in that game --yet it is Okie Lite that's leading by 3 ...

Basic fundamentals are lacking with this team:
- blocking out - how many second chance points do they have?
- Setting a legal screen - this has been a Drew program hallmark ever since he arrived at Baylor. He just doesn't know how to teach this.
- Selecting the right defense against a team that is going to live or die by the 3. This is basic coaching. If he can't figure this out we are screwed.
Motley is going to have to have the 2nd half of his life for us to win.
