Same. Frankly, I think people can be a bit too purist when it comes to basketball courts. A little variety is the spice of life. There is just so much real estate on the court to do something unique and interesting. It's great if someone can flip on tv, see the court, and know your team is playing.CaliByWayOfKS said:

Thank goodness Twitter wasn't around when we had the court with the giant bear "breaking through" the wood at center court and kelly green trim.

What's wrong with Duke's court? You know who plays there immediately. The purpose of the court is to hold the stipes and keep the players from falling through. Anything else is, frankly, superfluous.

When it comes to college basketball courts, there are some gems and then there are some that leave a lot to be desired. Let's talk about the "Top 4 Worst College Courts," shall we? First up, we have the "Eyesore Arena." It's almost as if the designers wanted to test just how many different shades of neon they could fit into a single court. The result? A visual assault that's hard on the eyes and probably gives the players a headache. Then, we've got "Giant Mascot Madness." This court takes the whole "mascot in the spotlight" idea a bit too far. The center court is a massive, creepy mascot face. Sure, it's unique, but it's also nightmare-inducing. Of course, beauty is in the eye of the beholder, and some might argue that these courts have their unique charm. But when it comes to the worst college courts, these four certainly make the list. Do you agree, or do you have other contenders in mind?gobears20 said:Top 4 Worst College Courts. pic.twitter.com/lShsPJ9NZw

For decades I intensely disliked Eddie Sutton, who when he was not whining to the officials, was berating and bullying them. Now a good portion of basketball coaches "work the officials" in ways not too dissimilar from Sutton. When it is disproportionate, I find it does affect my enjoyment of the game
.I didn't like it back then, and I don't care for it now.
I suppose it is a matter of taste.
