I will be at the Ferrell Center with geewago and Scout Bear watching TCU vs Baylor. We will be following the Iowa State vs Texas game in Austin via ESPN WBB Scores on our phones.

WE DEFINETLY WANT TEXAS TO BEAT IOWA ST.

But on Saturday with Iowa St vs. OU.. We will still want Iowa St to beat OU regardless of the outcome of the UT vs. Iowa st. game.

I'll be watching the Winter Olympics all evening with my wife. Then from 7-8 on my phone I'll have an eye on our TCU game hoping it'll be a blowout by 8 and then I'll watch our men at TT on my phone.

I regret that these two games are going on at the same time. Otherwise I would find myself attending both.

In the past, I've watched replays on ESPN+ shortly after the broadcast finished. In theory, it's available almost immediately. Although I've not tested that. I think the soonest I have watched was about an hour later.

From the title, I assumed the question was going to be Man Bears vs. Raiders or Lady Bears vs. Toads.

In my case, I'll be tied up in the early evening, so I'll probably watch the women shortly after that game ends, and and soon as I finish, put on the men's game.

I will just wait to find out tomorrow what happens with Horns and Clones. I'm always afraid something will flash across my phone to spoil the Baylor games.

Well, it was on the WBB board so there is that....I guess I really wondered what some of us who can't just drive to the games but instead watch on TV might be doing tonight. Of course, I am interested in watching BU always, but the game tonight should be one we put away TCU early and cruise...should be! I hope the Ladies don't take TCU for granted like I am!

I think we will wind up as conference champions and I think we wind up as a 2 seed. The season is just setting up nicely for us down the stretch. I just do not believe either OU or ISU are top 8 caliber teams. Creme has then both currently as two seeds...I think OU is at best a top 25 team and ISU maybe as good as top 15...even though we laid eggs against OU for whatever reason. I would just have to believe no one wants to face us with the healthy starting 5 we have.

So very interested in how this week plays out for OU and ISU I think by end of week we could be in first place. I really do believe the coaching and talent at UT makes them closer to a top 10 team than either ISU or OU. As much as it pains me to say.

If I have one gripe across the entire athletics department, it is that our teams never seem to show up ready to play their best against TCU. The Frogs, on the other hand, have the game circled on their calendar and play out of their minds every time. Baylor has to treat the TCU game like it's a big deal, because the folks in purple definitely will.

That is the usual fan assessment, but I really don't think that is reality. I am a firm believer that games just play out differently depending on a lot of things. It doesn't mean that a team is not "ready to play" because they don't go out there and set things afire. Now, it may be the other team is "ready to play" more for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean your team is not ready to play.

No team ever has gone out and played with high emotion game after game after game. It is not something that humans are able to do. You may be ready to play but the opponent throws something different at you that no one expected or unusual circumstances tilt everything out of whack (for example, Patterson getting axed this year), and it takes a while to adjust. Sometimes that adjustment takes too long and the game is lost. Sometimes you just don't have it that day, even when you think you do. Forget sports, look at your work careers. Did you "bring it" every single day? Were there days when you felt good about your situation thinking you were prepared for whatever the workplace or your competitors would throw at you and then once the day started, things just fell apart? I think people would be dishonest if they didn't admit that there were. Sports is no different.

And to answer the OP's question. We'll watch the women throughout and then check to see if any of the men's game is left and hopefully turn it on and we have a game. I am not looking for success in Lubbock tonight.

Seems to be true ofttimes in football. But so far in WBB this has not been true since TCU joined the Big 12.

There was one game about 5-6 years ago when we were cruising along in FtWorth at the end of 3, but then all of a sudden couldn't buy a bucket while everything TCU threw up went in. Cut a 30 point lead down to about 9 at the end.

Other than that, not too much.

We should not discount the possibility of a 1 seed if we win the next 8 games. We will be on a 20 game win streak. Tough for the top 4 to match.

The problem is that when Joens and her bunch, and especially Taylor Robertson for OU flick up prayers from anywhere on the court with people in their face or they are falling off balance and the threes go in, bank in, or rim in and end up shooting well over 50% from 3-land, you have to be a mighty good team having a very good night to offset those and win.

On another thread some were saying we were competing against LSU for seeding and I disagree...LSU is fighting for a 4 seed to host at best a three seed...they will not win out in the SEC...WE BU are fighting for a 2 seed and possibly a 1 seed...we would have to win out including the tournament to have a chance at the one seed. But it is possible. Right now the fear is the top 4 are pretty solid and the only losses would likely only be to other high ranked teams perhaps in their respective tourneys...I think South Carolina would have to lose three more games to drop off the one line and Stanford about the same...UL and NCS are vulnerable but likely only one of them...so we have to be perfect so as not to let someone behind us pass us Arizona, Michigan if they were either to run the table in their league including tourney they may slip past us.

I couldn't agree more with all three postings - loving the silence from the doubters when we started 0-2 !!!

Just an observation - at the start of the season a few posters were questioning team chemistry - They should look at the video posted on the Big 12 happenings thread - to see the sheer joy of the team as they reacted to AK hitting her first three - A picture is worth a 1,000 words that video has to be worth a million
