TCU v BU or ISU v UT?

I'm watching both Baylor games (MBB @ Tech). But I'll check scores too.

I regret that these two games are going on at the same time. Otherwise I would find myself attending both.DFW Bill said:
I will be at the Ferrell Center with geewago and Scout Bear watching TCU vs Baylor. We will be following the Iowa State vs Texas game in Austin via ESPN WBB Scores on our phones.

How soon are replays available? I think I heard not until the next day.
Well, it was on the WBB board so there is that....I guess I really wondered what some of us who can't just drive to the games but instead watch on TV might be doing tonight. Of course, I am interested in watching BU always, but the game tonight should be one we put away TCU early and cruise...should be! I hope the Ladies don't take TCU for granted like I am!Bone Squad said:
From the title, I assumed the question was going to be Man Bears vs. Raiders or Lady Bears vs. Toads.
In my case, I'll be tied up in the early evening, so I'll probably watch the women shortly after that game ends, and and soon as I finish, put on the men's game.
I will just wait to find out tomorrow what happens with Horns and Clones. I'm always afraid something will flash across my phone to spoil the Baylor games.

If I have one gripe across the entire athletics department, it is that our teams never seem to show up ready to play their best against TCU. The Frogs, on the other hand, have the game circled on their calendar and play out of their minds every time. Baylor has to treat the TCU game like it's a big deal, because the folks in purple definitely will.Eball said:

That is the usual fan assessment, but I really don't think that is reality. I am a firm believer that games just play out differently depending on a lot of things. It doesn't mean that a team is not "ready to play" because they don't go out there and set things afire. Now, it may be the other team is "ready to play" more for whatever reason, but that doesn't mean your team is not ready to play.Bone Squad said:If I have one gripe across the entire athletics department, it is that our teams never seem to show up ready to play their best against TCU. Seems to be true ofttimes in football. But so far in WBB this has not been true since TCU joined the Big 12.Bone Squad said:

There was one game about 5-6 years ago when we were cruising along in FtWorth at the end of 3, but then all of a sudden couldn't buy a bucket while everything TCU threw up went in. Cut a 30 point lead down to about 9 at the end.geewago said:Seems to be true ofttimes in football. But so far in WBB this has not been true since TCU joined the Big 12.Bone Squad said:

I am not a told you so kind of guy...oh what the heck I told you so! I am not sure how OU and ISU got to where they are today and God Bless them somehow OU beat us twice, but they just don't have the talent needed top to bottom to compete with us and UT, when we are on our games.Eball said:Well, it was on the WBB board so there is that....I guess I really wondered what some of us who can't just drive to the games but instead watch on TV might be doing tonight. I think we will wind up as conference champions and I think we wind up as a 2 seed. The season is just setting up nicely for us down the stretch. I just do not believe either OU or ISU are top 8 caliber teams. Creme has then both currently as two seeds...I think OU is at best a top 25 team and ISU maybe as good as top 15...even though we laid eggs against OU for whatever reason. I would just have to believe no one wants to face us with the healthy starting 5 we have.
So very interested in how this week plays out for OU and ISU I think by end of week we could be in first place. I really do believe the coaching and talent at UT makes them closer to a top 10 team than either ISU or OU. As much as it pains me to say.

We should not discount the possibility of a 1 seed if we win the next 8 games.
We will be on a 20 game win streak. Tough for the top 4 to match.
The problem is that when Joens and her bunch, and especially Taylor Robertson for OU flick up prayers from anywhere on the court with people in their face or they are falling off balance and the threes go in, bank in, or rim in and end up shooting well over 50% from 3-land, you have to be a mighty good team having a very good night to offset those and win.Eball said:I am not a told you so kind of guy...oh what the heck I told you so! I couldn't agree more with all three postings - loving the silence from the doubters when we started 0-2 !!!blackie said:The problem is that when Joens and her bunch, and especially Taylor Robertson for OU flick up prayers from anywhere on the court with people in their face or they are falling off balance and the threes go in, bank in, or rim in and end up shooting well over 50% from 3-land, you have to be a mighty good team having a very good night to offset those and win.Eball said:I am not a told you so kind of guy...oh what the heck I told you so! When those "shots" are going in fans sitting next to me tend to get irritated when I say I didn't know the circus was in town.
