Why were they playing at 10:30 on a Wednesday morning?

I hope we all understand that 3 of our last 4 games are against the three teams tied for second. Two on the road. They all have to believe if they can beat us it will likely give them second in conference outright and help their NCAA seeding. We do not have a cake walk.

This is why I was very conflicted about the celebration last night. Personally, I would have preferred waiting until the end of this 4-game run, and the end of the regular season, especially since we can still end up in a tie, and we have what I believe to be the toughest of the 4 games in Ames this Saturday. I have to believe that video of last night's festivities is being played in their locker room in Ames.

In regards to the celebration being held last night, I think that was the appropriate time to have it. First, because you always want to celebrate at home, after a game you've won. Despite being OSU, there's no guarantee BU wins that last game at home. Who's in a festive mood after a loss?
Secondly, though five days apart, having the victory celebration following the Family Night game might allow some of the parents who live away the opportunity to stay over and experience the festivities with their child. That would be special.
I understand fans' concern, but this is a veteran team who has been there, done that. As much as the upper classmen talk abou it never getting old, this celebration was mostly for those freshmen. The sophomores, juniors and seniors have bigger fish to fry.

PLAYER LEAVING PROGRAM

Kysre Gondrezick
I am sifting through the information I have to separate speculation versus facts. Just need a little more time. Thanks for posting !
Shezam, wheels seem to be falling off up there lately. Losing to OU at home is bound to have messed with their heads at least a little. Losing at KSU I can see, but the Sooners? This year? On your own court? With second place on the line? Unbelievable.whitetrash said:
