I may be wrong, but I don't think Chavez will be a Lady Bear. If we have truly landed Smith, DeCosta and Honesty we will probably offer one more scholly to bring the total player count to 12 for 2018, and I am guessing that we still have hopes of bringing in a higher rated player.

I can't help it if Karen can't develop talent and Kim can. You're either slow or just not very smart. Texas had 6 McDonald's AA on the active roster last year Baylor had 6. I'm not that good in math, but I do know that doesn't add up to double. Also, Mulkey did a horrible job of developing the best player in her programs history and the most talented player that's ever played women's basketball in Brittney Griner.

Mulkey basically turned her into a player that was only allowed to catch the ball and post up 3 feet from the basketball when Brittney had much more ability than that. I could only imagine what a Coach like Geno would have done with Brittney. That's also the reason that Mulkey underachieved with her and Sims on a roster filled with highly touted players.

Wow, you're Good! But you also forgot the choke job against a&m, I think that was also in Dallas. They had beaten a&m three times that year and choked and got outcoached by Gary Blair. There's so many of them that I can't even remember all of the epic gags that Baylor's had.

I would welcome insight and differing perspectives from other schools' fans--UT (both), Ou, UConn, USC, etc.--as long as they are seeking genuine interaction and are respectful. There are some posters who definitely fall into that category here. But you don't go into someone else's home or place of worship and insult their family or their faith, and you especially don't do it for "sport." That kind of behavior should always have consequences.

It's trolling because you are attempting to perpetuate a false narrative that Coach Mulkey has under-achieved. From both simple observation and facts, your fictional story line does not hold up. A few losses aren't that big a deal among all the wins on the way to the most conference championships of any Big12 coach, two national championships, the fastest march by any D1 coach to 500 wins and the second highest winning percentage of any of the active D1 coaches.

Of course we lost big games in every tourny that we did not win a natty. U understand that is the way it works, right? Only one team wins EVERY game in the tourny, and they call them the winner. So, by definition, we either won a natty (and we have 2 in the modern era compared to your Zero) or we lost a game we expected to win. Not sure what part of the concept you are missing. So Geno choked again when Kim beat him in Waco? In basketball you recruit and train good players, develop a strategy and let the ball fall where it may. When Ashton beats Geno to 500 wins or has a higher overall conference winning percentage than Kiim, let's talk. Until then, I'd quit showing my lack of understanding how the tourny works. It seems very strange that you are so preoccupied with Baylor and Kim. That in itself answers the bigger question. I can't even recall UTs big loses, nor do I care. I just know they exit the tourny earlier than expected.
