yeah if his accuracy/timing was perfectly consistent then his deep ball/arm strength woes wouldn't be as big a deal.
If it's purely or mostly a mechanical thing, then he's probably 'fixable' in the eyes of at least one NFL franchise.
I keep making the Trey Lance comparison but what Lance had going for him was in fact the lack of actual game film - people were purely projecting from his measurables.
Sawyer's problem is that he put a lot of bad throws on tape last year - but he also put a lot of great throws on tape.
So again, I think it all comes down to whether or not there's a franchise (whether owner, GM, HC, or OC, or any combo thereof) that thinks they can fix the problems he's got.
