The 1-3-1: Baylor (18-10, 9-7) at No. 19 Texas (22-7, 13-3)

Baylor will look to pull off the upset on Monday night with just one day’s rest as they head to the Moody Center in Austin. The Bears (18-10, 9-7) will try to keep their two-game winning streak alive against No. 19 and Big 12-leading Texas (22-7, 13-3) starting at 6:00 p.m.

Here is the 1-3-1 on Baylor and Texas.

One Player:

While Rori Harmon gets most of the headlines, and rightfully so, it’s Shaylee Gonzales (12.6ppg) that leads Texas in scoring.

I know I've been critical of Nicki, not as bad as others but I'm very impressed with how we played this game and how nicki coached and adjusted to the game. Let's keep getting better and make some noice in the postseason

I've been critical of Collen as well, but tonight was a good game plan. We drove to the basket and waited for the double team. It led to many open layups. We are a much better team when we don't settle for the 3. And, it was very smart to play zone. It really rattled them.

Buggs is one of the most polished freshman players I have seen in awhile.

Great job Bears!!!

Totally agree - it looks like the team finally got it tonight. In previous games this season we have seen quick threes but tonight we saw a disciplined, patient offense produce a much better outcome - Amazing how much better that works.
Now let's learn from this W and continue with it vs WV, Big 12 Tournament and NCAA Tournament !!!

I agree. I've been extremely critical, and I have to give props when props are due! Good adjustments and another dose of grit by players and coaches.

1. She was tasked with guarding Harmon which took her away from under the basket and opportunities for defensive rebounds.

I know Sarah was injured in first Iowa State game and it definitely affected her play. Tonight she played like the Sarah we know. When healthy, she is an incredible player. She has battled injury the past 2 seasons. Hoping she stays healthy for remainder of this season!
