Utah comes down, misses shot, gets rebound and Reese gets called for her 5th on a call not dissimilar to the one on Jessika Stratton vs. Tennessee in 2004. Utah goes to the line and…..air balls the first. Second fT bounces off rim, Utah gets it but LSU knocks it loose. Hits 2 more FT. Utah misses desperation 3 at buzzer.

She gets to wear whatever she wants (regardless of how hideous). The lady just WINS.

Transfer portal can work wonders. Just look at Tang and KSU. That may be the best resurrection job in history considering the short time he has been there. Was left with 2 players from last year's team.

Kim is always sending a message with her attire at this point of the season. Maaybe, many at BU always considered her a little rough, trashy so maybe she's saying stick this Mack while we're going to the Elite 8 and the sloppy passing, lack of defense Bears are watching on the tube. No doubt Kim can coach, but she was fortunate to get Angel Reese from the portal ( supposedly with help of NIL).

Kim is HOF coach but with no Angel Reese, LSU's season would look different. That one portal player did make a big difference for her this season. Hope Nicki can get a couple of good transfer players in spring.

You could say that about a million teams… most teams are going to look different without their star player… doesn't take away from what they're doing.

Yes. Reese is a top 5 player this year. Most teams do not have a star of her caliber but yes if they do it would make big difference if they do not play..

Come on though be fair, part of being a good coach is getting in good players. She has won with better players and worse players than Angel Reese.

In this case both statements are true. She did win with less talented and also more talented players than her current roster at LSU and Angel Reese was certainly the primary player most responsible for the heights of this season for LSU and she was certainly bought with NIL to go to LSU. She was scheduled to visit Baylor who a number of industry people considered the leader or at least a co-leader immediately following her LSU visit but she never made the visit and shut down her recruiting once the NIL offer was made.

Looks like RuPaul is designing her game day outfit!

So Mulkey had zero to do with her choosing LSU?? It was only about money? Reese has stated a billion times how much happier she is now at LSU than she was at Maryland. Maybe I'm just an idiot but it sure feels like playing for Mulkey has really helped her. Some of you act like the lady can't coach and these recruits are simply choosing LSU for $$ and nothing else

Where did I say Mulkey had nothing to do with it or that she can't coach? You are making claims that aren't there. However, if you think 100k didn't have anything to do with it and that it was 100% Kim and the LSU, program, you are not looking at what happened rationally. Every moderator has said the same and yet you claim to know otherwise? I think Kim is a great coach, I am just glad she is no longer our coach.

Your posts regularly mention nothing but $$$$ that tells me enough. You've consistently taken pot shots at her by essentially discrediting her abilities and using NIL as an excuse for LSUS success. I've never claimed to know more than the mods. But I'll reiterate if you think the ONLY reason LSU has landed Reese and these top classes is $$ than your as brain dead as AP and the other clowns constantly discrediting one of the best all time. She wins, elite players want to play for her… it's not just $$ like you seem to think. Oh and in year 2 she's on the verge of a F4 l!! If that's not enough evidence the lady can flat out coach than your a lost cause
