Wow, this is a shock.

Some of you asked questions about who she was, her age, etc.

Her real name is Mary Jane Hocher. She hailed from Cypress. I dated her when I was an undergraduate, and I totally lost touch with her until about 6 years ago when she turned up at a lunch event. Not sure when her birthday is, but she would be about 66 years old. She never married.

It's sad when I have to remove someone from my phone list.

I'll post this on the Premium Board, too.

Came on to post condolences. Mary came and visited my girls AAU program last year and bought tickets for a fundraiser we were doing. Just a wonderful person on the message boards and even more so in person.

She was in my class of '76. I'm sorry I didn't know her.

A tremendous loss for BU WBB. I will miss her posts full of WBB knowledge. We gonna have to step up our posts and make her proud. There are some great BU WBB fans watching from some well deserved seats. Rest in peace and power.

The family has not prepared an obituary yet. They are contemplating a Celibration of Life event at this time. I will let her many admirers know when this happens.

Slime cap is one you could count on for the truth. She will be missed.

I don't follow Baylor WBB as closely before March, but even I knew of Slimecap on here and her posts. A big loss for Baylor, the fans, and this board. RIP....Praying for all her friends and family.
