The Fever posted on their FB page about an outstanding performance by NaLyssa with her off-season team in China. Comments were mixed between her going or staying with team.

While fans should always be kind and courteous ( I fail too), NS played at half effort most of the season. She is best athlete on the court, but seemed to sleep walk thru games. A fresh start may be good for her. Also, unlike her college days, Clark has to learn she does NOT serve her team well ball hogging and toss up every shot even when she is as cold as ice.

Clark lead the league in assists… and Mitchell lead the Fever in shot attempts. Such a ball hog she is.
And in no way shape or form was Smith the best athlete on the court. She was lazy and spent 90% of her season pouting that she wasn't the alpha. She absolutely needs a change of scenery and a new attitude. Perhaps the Valkyrie sign her.

NS is clearly the best athlete. Did you watch her above the rim at BU. You mistook my comments. Yes, lazy and pouting and half effort or hurt? But raw athleticism may be top 5 in wnba. Just needs someone to bring it out or an attitude adjustment. Clark is incredible player, but keeps shooting when she is ice cold and pouts every time she gets called out by refs as is rules do not apply to her like they do to all the other players. I'm a fan of hers even though I thought I never would Be. She just has some maturing to do to properly channel her competitive spirit at the wnba level where she has equally talented teammates.

Iowabear, I can always count on you to spar even when we essentially agree. I don't know why you have a constant need to belittle or rebuff other members of the Baylor community, but many of us refuse to be silenced by your constant picking. Mitchell is the Fevers best athlete. And yes I watched Smith at BU. She's a completely different player right now than she was at BU. No idea what happened to her game but she just isn't good enough to be a WNBA starter right now

The WNBA had their expansion draft today for new Golden State team. They took Temi ***benle from the Fever; she completed end-of-season contract and was a free agent. I believe NaLyssa has reached last year of rookie contract where team has option to keep her or trade her. Does anyone know for sure how that works?

According to Spotrac, she will be RFA after 2025 season
