. 6 ft or 6 ft 1 inch guard. Class of 2027. Number 33 player in class according to espn. She is number 2 player in state of Florida.

Bella Flemings would be a huge get for Baylor. I know she likes Baylor and follows a number of the team and our coaches on social media. I am sure we are recruiting her hard. Fingers crossed!!!!

I will never understand the TCU attraction. They have never won anything and have really only had 1 really good season and even then didn't make FF. They got themselves on the national radar in 1 yr, maybe two. Their coach is either a great recruiter (West coast-Oregon contacts but now they are being mentioned nationally all over by top recruits) or they have paid top dollar or both. Frustrating. Despite having a good coach, Tx going to SEC and becoming a top national stop for the nation's top recruits without ever winning anything in recent past gives me similar frustration. We seem to have to work very hard to get the best recruits to visit. I am hoping this season changes that. We need to win and beat these high profile teams. I am fairly hopeful for Chloe Johnson in 2028 if things continue but my recruit prognostication skills in recent years have been poor. Carry on and Rant over.

Your recruiting prognostications skills are based on history and don't include the dollar factor. For some recruits the name on the jersey and its history.....and its coach just isn't the deciding factor. The only thing that matters is which president or famous person they see when they cash their paychecks. But we do have a new model (supposedly) of "compensation", so perhaps things will skew back to history, coaching and name on the jersey. But I'll believe it when I see it.

An equally big issue….by the time most current female basketball players reach the age of 15, they have been convinced by groomers that they are lesbians. By percentage it is about triple the national average.

Baylor will never recruit well in that environment.

You totally miss the point of the post.

Numerous folks in WBB go out of their way to paint Baylor as a poor choice for lesbian players.
Kara Lawson is a prime example.

Baylor's recruiting is not the issue. The negative recruiting by other coaches/handlers/etc. is the issue.

That is very true. A lot of negative recruiting against Baylor with lesbian players. Most of what these coaches are telling players is not true. Nicki has had several lesbian players on her teams who have been very happy at Baylor.

Who else is excited to watch Taliah Scott this season. She gives us something at guard that in my opinion we really haven't had, shes an all around player, all American type, leading the sec in ppg both seasons before injury.

She could have the kind of impact I expected from Sarah Andrews before injuries took their toll. She is clearly a next-level scorer. I was happy to see you refer to her as an "all around player" because defense is a critical factor as well. I expect she will run a lot of PG especially since we have two PGs recovering from injury. Once we get more depth at PG she can swing back and forth between PG & SG which will give us more flexibility.

It does help that Yuting can play from 1-4 as well as 6 ft 2 inches tall. It would help to get more point guards of course.
