I predict Tcu will continue to play the sexual predator & physical abuser without batting an eye. Nothing to see here right?

Hard to beat a team 3 times. Remeber the fiasco with the Aggies in i think 2011. We can win if we hit free throws and no scoring droughts.
We actually beat them 3 times that season.BUVA said:woodsa75 said:

That was a jaw-dropping game in Dallas. Blair and then assistant coach Vic Schaefer apparently told their players to either flop or foul every play because "they can't catch them all." At least they went on to win the natty.

The 4th time is what bit us.
I'll always believe that Mulkey's non-stop whining (for 2 weeks) about the committee placing both teams in the Dallas region got in the player's heads.
After the initial shock/disappointment of the team placements wore off (which should have been the case by that next day), then the message to her team, publicly and privately, should have been this:
"I don't care if we have to beat them 100 times. They are standing in our way and that's too bad for them, because they'd probably get to the Final 4 this year if they didn't have to play us again."
Instead, the whining probably put some doubt in their heads, they came out tight, and the rest is history.
Despite me questioning some of our coaching decisions this evening (and most definitely last Sunday), the one thing that I was pleased with today was the decision to put Vonleh and Abraham on the floor at the same time.Brusinbear2001 said:
without Buggs but nothing too crazy. I think with Buggs it would be such a different story. Even if Buggs was able to play 20 minutes it would have impacted the game with Bella on foul trouble. We finally have got a dominant Nette and i'm loving it!! Kyla and Nette on the floor at the same time is not a bad look honestly especially considering TCU has mainly a wing playing the 4 for them majority of the time.
Defensively we have improved so much compared to the beginning of the year. I would hate to have to play us in the tournament.
