That league is just stupid good. It really does suck for WBB that the conference lost OU and Texas

NIL seems to be leveling the field across the board. It will in wbb as well. Players care more about $$ than conference name tags. TCU recent success in wbb, coming out of nowhere, is case in point. Money shouts. Conference affiliation whispers. And 1 mega downer is all it takes to level the difference in conference money take, Texas Tech exhibit A.

UConn is beatable. Michigan played them tough. I doubt they steamroll teams from the E8 on. But yes, they're the favorite. Not sure that has much to do with pointing out how tough the SEC has become in WBB. (Wasn't always the case)

Saying that conference is ridiculously tough is now considered oooh and ahhhing? Boy that's one hell of a goalpost move. What would you have liked me to say? That the SEC sucks? Sure, next time I'll lie to please you.
UConn looks the part. But until they actually win the title you're just speculating.

It's a 5-horse race for the B12 title.
I looked through to compare schedules, West Virginia's appears to be the easiest remaining. And there's a good chance they beat us with our ball handling issues. If we can steal a win in Morgantown next Sunday that would be massive, especially considering we still have TCU twice

South Carolina dismantling undefeated Vanderbilt by 26 after 3 quarters.
This will leave UCONN as the only unbeaten.
The only team that could 'possibly' knock off UCONN this year would be the Gamecocks, imo.
And even then, it would take a near-perfect game to take the Huskies down.
Just don't see anyone else posing a serious threat come tournament time.

After Geno, I predict UConn will have the same landing as Tenn or Baylor. Relevant but no longer dominate. Will be hard to keep money flowing, and coaches salary will but 40 percent of what it is today. I Don't think Dawn or Vic or Kim, who have their own aging issue, would have any interest. So it will be a gamble.
