NC State transfer Lorena Awou has committed to Baylor, per Talia Goodman. She is listed as a 6-foot-5 center, and averaged 3.3 points and 3.3 rebounds on 45.5% shooting from the field in three games this season. She was indefinitely suspended by NC State coach Wes Moore before entering the portal and committing to the Bears.

I am working on finding out her eligibility status for this season.

Do we have any idea why she was suspended? I assume since CNC is accepting her, it is not some problem that could disrupt the team.

If you notice the team chemistry this year, you have to believe that she isn't going to have anyone on the team who doesn't fit in. Lorena will get a good idea of what a CNC team is all about from observing and also practicing with the team. Likewise, we get to know her.
