Right.

Like I said..and you in your post using the word 'P.R.'.

It's about publicity.

What i was pointing out is there are people on this thread that think those 2 are actually transitioning.

Again…..in simpler terms for you….

there is a big difference in a short play PR stunt simply to gain notoriety and a long term play to effectuate change.
you opine the former, I proposed the latter.

In more simpler terms..im not disagreeing with you.

Two former NBA players don't need notoriety.

Again I'm pointing out just like people fall for the Nigerian email scams there's people on this thread that think they're transitioning.

They never said they were.

They have said they are trans or women for the purpose of playing basketball. Which highlights the arguments of the left and gender being fluid, being able to change and change back, etc.

The argument has never been trans people that have fully transitioned in all aspects of their life or that have finished the transition belong but rather just that they belong.

And again..I didn't say they said they were.

I said there were people on this board that thought they were legit transitioning.

Hey, I just want to also point out that I never said that you said that nobody else on the board said that the NBA players said that no one said they were transitioning.

But someone might think that I did!

I'm fine with the "shut up and dribble" crowd. But it is hypocritical when the very person who said "shut up and dribble" (Megyn Kelly) is lionizing Sophie Cunningham as some vanguard of conservative values. Tell her to shut up and dribble, too...unless you have an agenda you're peddling...

There is a sizable difference between athletes offering opinions on topics unrelated to their profession and athletes offering opinions on safety issues within their profession.

Is she pushing the agenda or pushing against?

MLB has players that simply wrote a verse on their hat as their pushback against the gay coalition. Is that a shut up and pitch situation?

Either you're okay with politics bleeding into sports or you're not. I find it interesting that a lot of the "shut up and [whatever]" crowd only takes issue when it's progressive politics that bleed into the games.

Personally, I'd rather not see either side, but it's the athletes prerogative and they can live with whatever consequences come from it. The selective outrage by fans is the most annoying part to me.

Even if they aren't lionizing folks like Sophie Cunningham, they certainly will express their pleasure if a player talks about their Christian faith.
