Was on a puddle jumper airplane with Aston when she was here with Sonja. Introduced myself and told her I was a big Baylor fan. She was the most unfriendly Baylor coach I have ever been around. Old sour puss.

Who am I to question KM, but I thought instead of getting upset about that she should've just shrugged it off as a form of a back-handed compliment - as in my opponent obviously feels that even against our bench she has to have her starters in there to be competitive in a game that's already been decided - and let it go at that. Just not worth getting upset about.

She is a fierce competitor & an outstanding mentor to her Lady Bears. I think we saw a little of both in her response.

(It probably wasn't a good experience for her young players.)

Karen recruits well but you don't have to leave your office to recruit well at Texas.

Her teams don't always play hard and they turn the ball over too much.

She might be focusing more of her energy on family since her and her wife had a baby.

I think Cherry Cola refers to Sherry Coale of Oklahoma.

Karen had two different tours of duty at Baylor. She was on Hogg's staff from 94-96 as well.
