From Prospect Nation: (they have her listed at 6'2 and not 6'4" as currently listing. Her ranking (currently #17) should rise with increase in height.

USA Trials-May 2019: Athletic interior performer competes on the glass, finishes plays in traffic; quick-leaper with superior length, plays taller than advertised; scores in the paint through contact; superb in transition game; defends out of area; impact prospect in the class of 2022. (Olson)

Yellow Rose of Texas-March 2019: Athletic interior prospect with power-5 possibilities; quick-leaper, active on the glass, finishes in the key, scores in traffic; superb in uptempo game. (Olson)

UIL Texas State Tourney-March 2019: Athletic-4 finishes plays in traffic; quick in the key, pounds the glass, rises in the key and delivers over defenders; rim-runner with off-the-charts potential. (Olson)

Glad to see us making a run at more size, especially a Texas player. We have had good success with talented players wanting to stay closer to home. What an opportunity for both the player and Baylor. To receive an offer this early indicates she is the type of player CKM likes. Here's hoping

DeSoto sustained a big loss in the last game against Duncanville, as 6-4 sophomore forward Sa'Myah Smith suffered a season-ending torn ACL. Smith is rated by ESPN's HoopGurlz as the No. 1 player in Texas in the Class of 2022. She helped lead DeSoto to a state runner-up finish last season. This season she scored 16 points in DeSoto's win over Duncanville 68-48 on Nov. 19, 2019.

For fans who would like to see other state of Texas HS prospects

There is a young phenom from Indiana named "Ayanna Patterson" who attends Homestead High School. Listed as No. 4 and has the potential to be No.1 in the 2022 ESPN Hoopsgirl ranking. They list her height as 6' 2", but has grown to 6' 4" and can dunk.

Her ceiling is limitless, and would thrive under Kim Milkey's & Bill Brock's tutelage. Remind of NaLyssa Smith. Louisville, Texas Tech, South Carolina and numerous other D1 programs has offered or invited her on unofficial visits.

Ashlon Jackson top rated PG in Texas for 2022 now playing for SA Finest together on same team as Sammie Wagner. Made top 18 and practice team last year at U16 missed final cut to 12. Would be a HUGE get for BU!

Don't recall that this young lady has been mentioned, Maryam Dauda, 6-4, #22 on ESPN says she has a BU offer. She is out of AR. Rori Harmon now has a BU offer.

Both Maryam and Rori are 2021's but we are recruiting both. Maybe 2 2021 ladies from Arkansas?!

Some random thoughts:
1) many observers think that the 2022 recruiting class is the greatest overall collection [ever] of post talent in one year. Top Quality. Depth at top quality. Betts. Barker. Muhammed . Etc. 2023 is really talented also.
2) 2021 is a down year for top notch Texas talent. 2022 is a banner year. So is 2023.
3) absent some huge needs, many programs were tight with offers in 2020 [and will be again in 2021] to save scholarships for 2022 & 2023.
4) top programs have backed off of 2021 Jada Malone. She stopped growing [peaked at 6'3]. Think Kalani Brown body type at 6'3. Skilled. But length and height are big limiting factors.
5) expect Baylor to be tight with 2021 offers. don't expect Baylor to sign more than 3: 1 guard, 1 wing, 1 post.
6) Wolfenbarger was Baylor's top 2021 target.
7) expect Baylor to sign 4-6 players in each of 2022 & 2023 [the Top Quality talent is that deep].
8) Ashlon Jackson is a heavy UConn lean [favorite program since childhood].
9) 2022 starts the beginning of recruiting classes where numerous top players have been in AAU programs for 10+ years.
10) more than ever, the "family" aspect of a program is a top selling point. The other top point is the offensive system.
11) depending on who you talk to, the advent of 3 on 3 basketball events is either fantastic or feeding the worst aspects of modern basketball. How it is handled by a program will impact the types of recruits the program will seek/get.
12) by 2022, expect the top 10-15 programs to average 2 grad transfers per year. Short term plugs to recruiting misses, disciplinary problems, injuries, etc. Should help parity in the Top 15, will seriously harm overall parity.

2022 Adlee Blacklock picked up an Oregon State offer. She plays for Lubbock Trinity Christian HS.

Kim follows her on twitter, I believe both parents are BU alums, and she has been on campus. Will be interesting to see if Baylor offers.

On a totally unrelated note, Coach Eddie Sutton's grandson is the boys coach at Lubbock Trinity.

She was at a BU game earlier this year with her family and I saw her sitting with Sammie and Maddie. I believe she does hold an offer from BU. Interesting insight on CKM Twitter feed ...

In another thread, the post said that Adlee had suffered a injury a week or two ago and was getting a MRI. Any more info on her injury?

The family can release, but it'll be a bit before she is on the court.

Yes, but there has not been much news as to which schools she has an interest in.

Grandview High School is in Centennial, Colorado, a suburb of Denver.

On a positive note, Baylor's position with Ashlon Jackson has improved tremendously. Remember that she is a Louisiana native (lived there until 7th grade). Some coach at Baylor WBB seems to have the magic touch with key Louisiana recruits. Jackson is very tight with her Mom.....recruit the Mom. See "your baby" play all the time. Don't send her thousands of miles away where you never see one another. Play at home with elite talent. UConn has tons of guards in their 2020 & 2021 recruiting classes.

Agree! I just wonder if Adlee's recent injury factored into the decision. Offers can come and go. I wish her all the best.
