I was just told by a trustworthy source that 6 Baylor WBB players have now entered the transfer portal as of this afternoon. Don't know the "who" or the "what" or the "why?" Or if the math makes sense on what you guys already know. But the number I just heard is "6". Make of it what you will.

During Mack's interview he specifically read of the list of players on the active roster (the 7 remaining players after removing Gusters, Oliver, Moon, Trinity, Carr and Dauda out of the equation) as those who have made a commitment to staying on the team. Not sure where you're getting that additional 6 entering the portal.

I think the 6 are the ones we know: Moon, Trinity, Jordyn, Gusters, Carr, and Dauda.

Total of 6...not additional. Sounds like you guys have it.

Dauda would not be considered a transfer or have anything to do with the portal...

we will get some quality port in soon. There are now players who see the playing time open up at Baylor. We will certainly add a few back in.

Jordyn Oliver left before Coach Kim did.
Moon was unlikely to return to Baylor.
Hated to lose Dauda but she never put on a BU uniform. Carr went with her sister and never played a game for BU.
So in my mind, Trinity, if she leaves, and Gusters are the only true transfers.

And even then, Trinity would technically be a graduate transfer.

It matters little how anyone wants to define what a "true" transfer is. Any way you spin it, you'll find that there are 7 players available to play in a Baylor uniform. That is a significant problem which will hopefully be remedied quickly.

They were already here. Nothing has been gained by retaining them other than plugging up a possible leak in a sinking boat.
