Game tomorrow is on espn U. I paid for espn+ so I could watch the games this year. Does espn U mean I will not have access thru espn+?

Yes. Espnu is regular tv grande 918.
anybody know for certain what station local to Waco has USPNU? can stations other than grande carry it as well? Obviouisly I don't know my "ESPN+" stuffs very well.
All the cable and satellite companies should have espnu. You don't need espn+ tonight.
If you don't have espnu you would then have to sign into your espn account.

In some cable packages, it's not standard--it's included in a higher level of service.

Unless I am blind, my Spectrum package in Waco does NOT have ESPNU. My Spectrum package in Dallas does. Could have sworn we did have it in Waco 3 years ago when we signed up.
One shouldn't have to jump through a hoop to watch the #5 team in the nation.

Schools get a piece of that streaming money from ESPN. Bigger games (Baylor/Michigan, Baylor/Texas) will make the mainstream market (ESPN without having to pay).

Not in Waco. My Spectrum screen stayed dark all the way thru Station #999.
ESPNU on Spectrum is Station 370. That screen was black/blank except for the notice that I needed to pay a $30 upgrade to view ESPNU programs.
I did and loved getting to watch BU football step on the OSU guys (and I'm watching the replay and lovin it all over again.
Ladybear bball is typically on ESPN+ (streaming).
Any of you local Wacoans help me out here? I've been known to be an absent minded professor type. Trying to get to a local Customer service rep here in Waco is like OSU trying to score from 1 yard out with 4 tries.

no they aren't. ESPNU is a cable channel. ESPN+ is a streaming service. I don't have cable so if I want to watch a game on espn 1, 2, U, fox ect, I have to go somewhere or use someone's cable login. Has zero to do with espn+.fredbear said:

You are correct Brian. I will say though the app isn't necessarily easy to use.
People need to go up to the very top and click on the tiny calendar icon. That pops up the schedule. One can select from live, upcoming, and replay. They can also select which channel from a pull down "thingy" (that is a technical term lol).
I know it isnt easy to find but if one has an espn+ subscription it includes ESPNU on it through the app. But then again I could be entirely wrong. All I know is I get it on mine.

ESPNU being available on ESPN+ depends upon your billing address location. If the cable company owning rights for your billing address has an exclusivity provision for ESPN channels, you won't be able to access ESPNU on your ESPN+ account. Weird reality, but the way it works.
