Did Biggio and Bagwell give a post season hitting clinic before this series? The complete disappearance of the bats, even in the wins, is almost unbelievable.
Believe me when I say, we can only get better.
Yes, we're bound to better at home, but the last three games have included some uncharacteristic mistakes and brain-farts.
Looking at the dugout today, you'd think they showed up for a funeral instead of a game.

No hitting
Lousy coaching
We're done
We might win Game 6 but there's no energy in this team now.

That's the spirit. The last time you were talking like this they went on a winning streak. Maybe a little home cooking will wake up the bats enough to force a game seven. We'll see. Yesterday's was the game they needed to win.

See my response to DC. Time for a reverse jinx.GoldMind said:Oldbear83 said:Yeah, but it may well be next season before that happens.GoldMind said:sahen said:

Thought we called a truce
Severino, but yes.GoldMind said:
I went to church/confession this morning. I prayed for several things, but mostly I prayed to almighty God to bless this team. I prayed that the victims of Harvey and anyone effected by the horrid flooding can find some comfort knowing that win or lose, our teams stood up and provided relief efforts. I prayed that win or lose, that Houstonians be proud of what this team has accomplished so far. Our backs are against the wall, it's time to get back to form and start smashing. We handled Chris Sale, I know we can handle Liriano.

How did you get the World Series ones? Did you win the lottery again? I went 0-fer, and wasn't able to get any at noon today.sahen said:
I have tickets to ALCS Game 7 - I plan on using them.
I now have tickets to World Series Houston Games 2 and 3 - I also plan on using them.
Go Astros!

I got an email saying the WS tickets didn't go on sale to the public until Saturday. I think.

I can't wait. I'll be in Section 227, row 1 again, just like game 2. My father in law got the seats again, so I am very fortunate to be upgraded from the already good seats in 411. Where are you guys tomorrow? I'll keep an eye out for you.
This also means I will not be at the Baylor game tomorrow night, ending my streak of consecutive Baylor home football games attended at 36. The last one I missed was the RG3 to Terrance Williams winner over OU in 2011.

I'll be at Baylor vs. WVU, but I will be keeping an eye on the 'Stros game for sure.
Go 'Stros!
