The funny thing to me is the apparent hard on the NCAA has for pairing up UT and TAMU whenever the chance arises in the last two years.

They were slated to meet in the second round of the basketball tournament two years ago. A&M lost in the first round so it didn't happen.
They did meet in the second round of the men's tennis tournament this year. UT won.
They did meet in the super regionals in the softball tournament this year. UT won.
Now, if both teams win, or if both teams lose, they will play each other at least once, maybe twice in baseball regionals.

This is likely orchestrated by ESPN, not the ncaa.

Aaaand….the CWS will consist of 4 SEC teams, 3 ACC teams, and the final team to be decided today between SEC UGA and ACC NCSt.

Very interesting CWS this season: 4 from the SEC; 4 from tge ACC.

Better not schedule SMU is baseball next season...
