Well, my daughter is competing directly against Baylor this weekend! She is in the event final for the seven element on Sunday and so are our Baylor girls.

She is the top for Lander University. Grandneice of Baylor Football Hall of Famer Donnie Laurence. She wanted to go to Baylor her entire life... Been to dozens of our football games - Maybe if she can beat us and win the National Championship, Baylor might take a look at her!

My dream:
Lander 1
Baylor 2

And if you dont follow this sport...know that it is extremely unlikely anyone beats Baylor at this. We rule.

Lander isnt in the team competition. Only that 1 event final.

Btw, You met her at the AA center mens basketball game last year. Idk if you remember that.

should have seen it last year. Entire arena was rooting against baylor. Everybody that competes at this level hates us. UMHB won the d3 title earlier in April and then received a 5th seed in this tourny, first time a d3 school has made it, and they cheered for us. Nobody else. Umhb head coach competed at Baylor lol

Nobody will beat what Baylor did there for maybe 25 years. Baylor's 7 element with Bailey is the highlight of the entire meet: all elements / all schools.

My daughter's base took a tiny step forward on the initial mount. Other than that minor deduction they were solid as a rock. She wasnt happy it wasn't their best, but took solace that anyone's best wasn't going to beat Baylor's 7-element.

Very proud of her! Looking forward to her last 2 years.

So as we're driving back to Pittsburg right now, we exited in Morgantown for bathroom stop. Apparently we took the exit that goes by WVU's baseball field. It was packed for their game with BAYLOR! Lol. It's a sign!
