Baylor has a better BA, OPS, Runs, Hits, Dbls, HR, RBI, TB, and SLG than their opponents.
A good team would lead all those metrics.

I didn't move any goalposts. I looked up their stats and posted what I found. They're better than their opponents in all the metrics I posted.

Would the B12 statistics be a better measure? Especially considering the weak competition Baylor has played OOC ? Baylor having better batting stats than coastal Carolina seems rather meaningless

im looking at the stats right now. to an untrained eye sure we have better stats vs who we have played overall. To anybody who actually understands who you play matters, you will then see we are 2-9 vs ranked teams and our stats are greatly inflated by some big wins over bad teams which involved higher stats by default as a result of hitting the ball and scoring more runs against bad teams. We have had a few blow out wins but we have also had multiple blow out losses.

Wins vs losses matters and who you played matters. This team is 2-9 against ranked teams. Beating up on teams your supposed to beat up on does not mean much. beating good teams matters

BU Softball was ranked #24 two weeks ago so somebody thought they were "good". Then they lost to #2 UT and dropped to RV last week, about #28. Now after the losses at #13 Arizona they've dropped out. It's not unlikely that with a little win streak the next week to 10 days they could find themselves ranked again.

We had a nice series at UCF, taking two out of three from a ranked team on the road.

Against the remaining teams currently ranked in the Top 25, we are 0-8 and have been outscored 16-69.

he actually said "statistics" after beating Baylor 20-3 at Kyle Field in 1967. Baylor ran up 400 yards and had the ball in scoring position four times without scoring

Statistics over the course of a season > statistics of a single game. There's plenty of evidence that Baylor softball isn't any good this year. That harsh reality just offends the usual suspects on here who don't like living in reality
