TOP QUOTE
Glenn Moore on the game…
“We expected a tough environment tonight against a great team. Apart from an early home run by (Goose) McGlaun, we were dominated by (Summer) Ellyson. In spite of that and several costly errors we had a chance to win late in the game. We were able to get the tying run to the plate in the last frame. Having said that, we won’t win against this caliber team until we start making the fundamental play. But tomorrow is a new day, and we will get another chance to improve.”
WHAT'S NEXT
Baylor takes on McNeese State in Lake Charles on Tuesday. Originally, the Lady Bears were scheduled to face the Cowgirls on Tuesday and Wednesday, but due to expected inclement weather, the two teams will play in a doubleheader instead on Tuesday. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m.
